IEOS2017 and Copernicus Information Session
The theme of this year’s Earth Observation (EO) 2017 event revolves around raising awareness about the EU’s Copernicus EO programme and strengthening the linkages between all stakeholders – whether Researchers, Technologists, Service-providers or End-Users.
This two-day event will be held at Maynooth University on the 2nd/3rd Nov 2017 and kick-off with international key-note speakers from European Space Agency and Group on Earth Observation, opening the 11th Irish Earth Observation Symposium on Thursday 02/11/2017.
The second day, Friday 03/11/2017, promises to be an information-packed day with presenters, speakers, & experts from the EU Commission, Copernicus Support Office and Irish agencies explaining how Copernicus works, how to access data and information services as well as examples of how Copernicus is currently being exploited across Ireland. This exciting two day meeting will be of interest to any student, researcher, technologist or professional who is involved in acquiring, processing and using Earth Observation data.
Registration is free but places are limited. To register for either or both events please go to http://infosessionireland.eventsite.be
