Join us on Wednesday 13th December at 13:00 Irish time for our webinar on ‘Impacts of Selected Trends on the Emerging GI Environment – Open Data; AI/Machine Learning; Big Data/Analytics; Open Software; and Virtual/Augmented Reality’ hosted by Prof Chris Brunsdon and Dr Martin Charlton.

Chris Brunsdon is professor of Geocomputation and Director of the National Centre for Geocomputation (NCG) at Maynooth University, Ireland. His most recent book (with Lex Comber) is “An Introduction to R for Spatial Analysis and Mapping”. Chris has particular interests in spatial data analysis and open source data science tools.

Martin Charlton is a Senior Lecturer at the NCG. He has long standing interests in the science of spatial data handling, spatial modelling, spatial epidemiology and GIS. As one of the developers of geographically weighted regression he has run workshops on spatial modelling in the USA, Canada, Ireland, the UK, Finland, Italy, Austria, Japan, and Australia.
