Case Studies

One of the key aims of IRLOGI is to create a shared knowledge base of how GIS has been, and is being, implemented and used by both private and public sector organisations in Ireland and the benefits, both tangible and intangible, that are being realised.

It is therefore hoped that the case studies made available here will be of great assistance to those individuals and organisations who are looking for an understanding of why and how GIS is being applied, and in the generation of their own business cases.

If you feel you have a worthwhile project that you would like to share with the IRLOGI community we would also love to hear from you.

You can download a Case Study Template in the Word Document link below. Follow the instructions for completing it and submitting the completed document back to IRLOGI ( for review, prior to it being published on the IRLOGI website.
