IRLOGI Breakfast Briefing - OpenStreetMap - Thurs 17th May 30-04-2012   7.30am Chartered Accountants House, Pearse Street, Dublin 2   OpenStreetMap is a free worldwide map, created by the public at large. The data is free to download and use under its open license. The University of Ulster are running a half day seminar on the need for organisations to get their spatial and non-spatial data right in order to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in decision making in Northern Ireland. It will be Chaired and led by Dr David McIlhatton with speakers from positions in decision making and business management in both the public and private sector. The half day seminar is designed to demonstrate the importance of making sure that the data that your system is collecting, is actually answering the questions that you require to meet both the operational and strategic needs of your organisation, as well as that of the decision making process in Northern Ireland.

This Seminar will be of particular importance to those who are within the housing, community and regional planning, socio-economic research, business improvement and management, local authorities, land and property, GIS, education, marketing and economic development sectors.
